In 2004, Manchester business woman, Diane Jones, took a 'leap of faith' and bought the company with a view to expand the business and develop additional disciplines. Operations Director for an IFA, Diane recognised how new technologies facilitated a shift in working practices for businesses, releasing them from an office base.
The classic model of a solicitor/IFA/architect/surveyor’s practice, with fee earners in and out of the office leaving secretarial staff either overloaded or idle is inefficient – by outsourcing, the peaks and troughs of demand are catered for more cost effectively (invoiced only for work done). An employee costs almost 3 times their salary – by outsourcing, a business can effectively reduce their secretarial/admin overheads to approx.1/3.
